  Doorway

Mark Cunningham

Empty or full:  nothing by halves.  Except in Dutch paintings.  Except children.  A chance to put yourself in another's place.  But either it's part of a wall or it's walked through as though not there.

A normal day:  you're in one place, get out, then you're somewhere else.  A normal nightmare:  you're in one place, get out, then you're deeper in a trap.

A priori, you can't tell if you're dreaming.
