Dr. Andrei Smyslov is a
retired astrophysicist who resides in Russia. He has produced an extensive
body of art depicting batteries. He has no other interests and remains
entirely focused on batteries as art. The two images in this issue of
Right Hand Pointing are from the Rocket C-Cell series, currently
on exhibit in Quernertuarsuit, Greenland. We
are currently trying to acquire images from his series Rocket 9-Volt. |

Helen Losse is a poet and free lance writer
with recent poetry publications or acceptances in Facets: A Literary

Caitlin James
resides in Texas, writes sporadically, and
pursues publication infrequently. Her previous credits include work in
The Story Garden as both a contributor (Issue 1) and co-editor (Issues
2 & 3). She hopes to have her poetic license upgraded from a learner's
permit eventually, provided she can pass the vision test.

and Alsop Review, among others. Her poetry has won awards in
national contests sponsored by New Press Literary Quarterly, Zuzu's
Petals Quarterly and Bayousphere. She currently co-edits and
co-publishes the monthly Houston poetry journal Curbside Review and
is Associate Editor of the Austin magazine Ardent.

Cara Chamberlain |

Cara Chamberlain lives in Lakeland, Florida,
where she tries to avoid working for wages—good wages, anyway. Her fiction and
poetry have recently appeared in The Southern Review, The Chaffin Journal,
Passages North, and Chattahoochee Review. Her novella, The Devil's
Party, was a finalist in the 2004 Low Fidelity Press Novella Contest.

Taylor Graham is a volunteer search-and-rescue dog
handler in the Sierra Nevada, and helps her husband (retired forester/wildlife
biologist) with his field projects. They are dealing with ailing/aging friends,
relatives, and neighbors (not to mention the people they search for with our
dogs), and they hope to never grow old. |

Darrell B. Grayson resides on Death Row at Holman
Prison in Alabama. He is the Chairman of Project Hope to Abolish the Death
Penalty. Mr. Grayson's poetry has been published in the Open Door Newsletter,
Wings of Hope and the ezine Axis of Logic. Several of his poems are published
on the phadp.org website. He has a chapbook due out from Mercy Seat Press in
